DESCRIPTION: Emergency congenital water treatment service was provided due to an oil spill in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. A container holding over 500,000 barrels of oil production water suffered damage, resulting in a spill within the facility, posing a high risk of contaminating the «Boca del Río» river, which flows into the Pacific Ocean. With a response time of less than 24 hours and installation and startup within 48 hours, SIIP Mx successfully treated the congenital water and resolved the environmental emergency in record time. The outcome was water suitable for disposal under NOM-001-SEMARNAT-2021, also complying with NOM-143-SEMARNAT-2003.
